It gives us great pleasure to announce that Mitchell Carriero has been selected as the October Employee of the Month for Pineland Farms. Mitch has been with our production department as a Relief Operator, working the day shift since April of this year, after having worked as a temporary for six months previous.
Mitch is primarily assigned to the cuts line, but willingly wears many hats in our operation. He breaks out, not only the cuts line operators, but will relieve mash crew operators on many of their breaks if needed. He is willing to take on any position, even ones he has little expertise in and learns quickly “on-the-fly” in order to help out. He takes on even the most difficult assignments with a positive attitude and a grin on his face, making even the most difficult days brighter.
